Hi, I'm Isabelle!
I am Filipino-American, born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. I graduated from New Jersey City University with a BFA in graphic design. I'm interested and currently looking for a design position in the New York City area.
In the spring of 2025, I exhibited my BFA design thesis called Matcha Club. It is a product of design subjects that I enjoy like packaging and branding, and includes another art that I partake in, ceramics. Matcha Club is a cafe with a brand that consists of a vibrant but calm theme, which aids in welcoming new and potential customers in. While matcha is a trend that continues to grow, there are still many people that have negative notions towards this green tea powder. I believe matcha should be introduced and appreciated in an authentic way, and that is Matcha Club.
For the 2025-2026 year, I was editorial designer for the physical issue of the school newspaper, The Gothic Times. I was also involved in leading and designing flyers for the annual Book Fair held by NJCU's Writing Center. I had also taken the opportunity to work with the school's marketing team, working with brand guidelines and creating flyers, booklets, posts and campus event advertisements!
